Ostrom’s Mushroom Farms will be closing it’s Everson facility in June. The farm is “small, aging and no longer cost effective to operate, it has become increasingly difficult to attract labor to the farm” says Ostrom. The closure will effect 65 employees. Fred Meyer, Haggen, Safeway and Whole Foods all carry Ostrom’s Mushrooms.
