Pickett House Museum Tour

Come tour Captain George E. Pickett’s 1856 home on Peabody Hill. this is the oldest, documented, wooden structure, on it’s original site in the State of Washington and was built with planks from the 1853 Roeder Peabody sawmill on Whatcom Creek..

It was here his son, James Tilton Pickett was born.

Later as a General in the Civil War, Pickett led the infamous Charge at Gettysburg, July 3, 1856.

Daughters of the Pioneers of Washington are the docents for this historic treasurer.
