Whatcom Symphony Orchestra Presents: Joshua Roman Returns !

Since his appointment at age 22 to Principal Cello for the Seattle Symphony, a virtually unheard-of accomplishment, Joshua Roman has developed a dedicated Pacific NW following.

He returns to Bellingham to join the WSO in Elgar’s fiery concerto, one of the highlights of the instrument’s repertoire.  The season closes with Brahms’s soaring, lyrical First Symphony.

“Roman…plays with lyrical genius, and as if in a meditative trance. His technique is brilliant and his intensity and confidence are inspiring to hear.” ~ Connecticut Post
